SASKATCHEWAN –

Held our annual Potluck Supper on January 23, 2010 at The Hilltop Club House organized by Ron & Carol, with 18 members in attendance.
Everyone brought a gift and instead of exchanging with each other, the group decided to have a silent auction.
Everyone had an enjoyable evening socializing and joking around with a lot of laughs. A total of $117.00 was raised from this auction .Thanks to Ron & Carol for a job well done.
Tickets were distributed to the members present to sell for our annual Steak Nite which was organized by Ted and Sheryl. The Steak Nite was scheduled to held on February 23, 2010 at Rodeo's Bar & Grill in Saskatoon. A total of 150 tickets were distributed, but only 130 were sold. Everyone that attended the Steak Nite had an enjoyable night. Door prizes were drawn and prizes that were given away were donated by members and local businesses. 50 / 50 tickets were sold which was a successful fundraiser.
Thanks to Marlene, Carol, Sharon, Jamie, & Mary for selling the tickets. Thanks to Ted & Sheryl for organizing this event.
On March 20, 2010, a luncheon meeting was held at Mr. Rib's to choose outfit dress for Team Saskatchewan athletes and guests who will be attending the National CTA Games in Quebec City. Carol brought various shirts to choose from. Also a logo was chosen, which was to be these shirts. She also was in charge to get all the fitting and selling these shirts, with a few problems, but it turned out to the better at the end.
Thanks again to Carol for a job well done. We would also like to thank Sharon for taking on the task as being our Team Manager to Quebec City for the games. On March 23, 2010, for ORGAN & TISSUE DONOR'S AWARENESS WEEK,
Orest & Lorraine set up table display at Adessa Auto Auction held there annually to promote Organ &Tissue Donor's Awareness. 50 / 50 tickets were sold to all the dealers across Saskatchewan attending this auction. The winner of the draw in turn, donated the winnings back to CTA Saskatchewan. Thanks to his generosity.
Our next luncheon meeting will be held at Sardinia's on Idylwyld Drive in Saskatoon on May 29 to distribute the outfits to the athletes and guests. Thanks to all that took part in the past few months to get what was accomplished. See you all at the games in Quebec City, in Quebec City in August.
